Concert de SAPHO
Pour clore le festival de la Janadriyah, l’Ambassade de France vous invite au concert exceptionnel de SAPHO, le mercredi 31 Mars à 20h
Sapho est née au Maroc où elle vit jusqu’à l’âge de 16 ans. Elle signe un premier album (chez RCA) en 1977, "Le balayeur du Rex". Elle reste ensuite un an à new-York avant d’aller enregistrer son deuxième disque à Londres. Elle enchaîne ensuite les disques et les tournées internationales. Elle chante en français, en anglais et en arabe, et a effectué plusieurs tournées dans les pays arabes où elle se trouve particulièrement à l’aise.

To end the Janadriyah festival, the French Embassy invites you for an exceptional concert by SAPHO.
Sapho was born in Morocco where she lived until she was 16. In 1977 she released her first album (at RCA), “The sweeper of the Rex". Then she went to New York City for a year and recorded her second LP in London. Since then she has been giving concerts all over the world and recorded new albums regularly. She sings in French, in English and in Arabic, and made several tours in the Arab cities where she feels particularly at ease.
